1. You’re just happy to have a kitchen you can cook in.
2. Your teenagers are ecstatic when you pull the mattresses out.
3. You allow your toddler to freely tag his name on the doors and walls.
4. You find your husband sleeping in strange places.

This is all your parents fault.
So, how great(sick) is it that I look at these pictures with a sense of nostalgia? I remember when you fell on the carpet tack strip(definitely not one I missed while ripping them out)and got a nail in your knee(that was your first home remodel accident).
And, let us not forget cooking on the camp stove on the back deck? So much better than all those restaurant meals. But, then there are still dishes to wash(cuz I would not use paper/stryo or plastic).
Ahh, how wonderful to just lay back on the tiles(b4 grout)/carpet/wood floor you just finished laying to “just rest for a few minutes.”
Yup…this all feels totally normal to me.
😀 Your kitchen looks great! Way better than ours. Our kitchen renovation has been going on for four weeks now and I am seriously, desperately missing the services of our fridge and stove. Living for weeks on dry food and on the goodwill of the neighbors and their microwave is really getting on the nerves. Good luck with the work!
