Arlo approves of the upgrades (especially the stool!)
The ensuite master bathroom is finished! The first complete home renovation. This bathroom was actually not that bad. It just needed a good scrub (like everything in the house), some fresh paint and a few pieces of new hardware. Here are the photos:

AFTER: And, this is what they look like now. We removed the hardware, lightly sanded and then painted with a semi-gloss white paint and replaced the hardware with new (not gold/brass) knobs and hinges.
BEFORE: I’m supposed to put my stuff in there? (Also, what is up with that function shower threshold?)
AFTER: No, put it in here, with a new piece of plywood and shelving paper laid down.

I actually made this shower curtain hack out of an existing shower curtain. I had the shower curtain from our last home that was for a full size tub/shower, but it was too big for this shower. And, I needed a curtain for the window, so I just cut the shower curtain I had in half. I finished the edges and hung one half up outside the shower using half a pack of shower curtain rings and a regular curtain rod. Then, I hemmed the other half to the window length and hung it up over the window using the other half of the shower curtain hooks and the same style of curtain rod.

I don’t have hand towels for this bathroom, so I’m collecting “vintage” (i.e. Value Village) hand towels in whatever patterns I like that match with the red bath towels I do have.
Another “vintage” hand towel in the regular rotation.
